My pup and I started our two-year journey with Carol and Mike with Puppy Kindergarten, we've breezed through Obedience, improved our bond with Agility, and even practiced out in the real work in the Canine Good Citizenship class. Carol's been the perfect guide for this first-time adult dog parent, making learning a breeze with her expertise, support, and positive approach. The classes keep us accountable, ensuring that practice is a daily habit. Carol and Mike are pawsitively awesome!

The Educated Pet has been a “constant” in the life of my precious Labrador. Dolly is now 7 years old and has been an absolute JOY…In large part because we began our journey with Carol & Mike when she was 4 month’s old! Their expertise, gentle guidance and love for all their pup’s was evident from the beginning. I wanted my dog to be respectful, attentive and well-behaved. I wanted to take her everywhere, a member of my family, a constant companion. Carol and Mike gave me the tools to do just that. I have known both owners of this business for more than a decade. The knowledge that they possess, helping to guide pet owners in regards to behavior and training is top notch. Problems are not always a quick fix especially with our pets. Carol and Mike take careful calculated considerations into account when working with their clients. As a veterinary professional I have had Carol and Mike come and speak with my veterinary staff so they could learn tools to help set up them up for success with the many fearful and anxiety ridden pets we treat daily. Their approach is positive and grounded in doing the work to have a confident and loving pet family member. The Educated Pet does far more than just training and behavior modification. They are versed on many other dog programs and certifications. Best place ever! So glad I found out about it. Carol & Mike are great. Love their approach. They have taught me how to communicate with my dog. It really should be called The Educated Pet Parent.
